Languages at UIB
We offer a range of courses in modern and Oriental languages to complete your language training and enrich your cultural background, as well as the opportunity to learn or improve Spanish or Catalan.
A dedicated area on the first floor of block C in the Guillem Cifre de Colonya building (University campus), where you can improve your level of English. You will be helped at all times by an expert to guide you in the use of the material in the classroom and in your learning programme.

- Official accreditation of the degree of competence and command of the Spanish language is provided by the Cervantes Institute on behalf of the Ministry of Education of Spain.
- There are six levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2, which correspond to those of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

The Department of Modern and Classical Spanish organises Spanish courses for foreigners of all levels, as well as an intensive English course during the summer.
